Twin Horses Blazer
This unique blazer is reconstructed from vintage garments and textile fragments, combining tailoring with delicate domestic fabrics.
The base is a soft gingham blazer that has been transformed with lace trims, ruffles, and panels from a vintage apron. The apron fabric features hand-illustrated horses and floral motifs, creating a playful pastoral scene that continues across the back of the garment.
A gathered ruffle runs across the waist, adding volume and contrast between the structured blazer and the softer textile layers.
The large apron panel on the back frames the twin horses illustration, surrounded by lace details that emphasize the handcrafted character of the piece.
Each element has been carefully assembled through hand stitching and machine sewing, preserving the charm of the original materials.
No two pieces will ever be the same.
